KUALA LUMPUR: Pecca Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Pecca Aviation Services Sdn Bhd and Global Component Asia Sdn Bhd have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote aircraft seat cover products in Malaysia and the wider region.

Under the terms of the agreement, Global Component Asia and Pecca Aviation will engage in joint marketing efforts to promote Pecca’s aircraft seat covers for both civil and enforcement/defense markets in aircraft cabin upgrade.

Global Component Asia, with its extensive experience in the maintenance, repairing, and overhaul (MRO) industry, will leverage its network and resources to increase Pecca Aviation’s market penetration in the region.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Pecca Aviation to promote their high-quality aircraft seat cover products,” Global Component Asia chairman Datuk Nonee Ashirin Mohd Radzi said in a statement.

“This partnership is in line with our tagline for this event – Driving nation towards technology – and we believe it will contribute to the growth of the aviation industry in the region.”

Pecca Group executive director Teoh Zi Yi said: “This deal highlights our competitive advantage in the aviation market, as the only European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certified production organisation approval (POA) C2 Certificate holder in Malaysia, as of to-date. Working with Global Component Asia should unlock market share gains for Pecca, further unleashing the growth of this business.”
